The Franchise

The Franchise

Ed Walsh is Sheila brother.  They were very close and often talked to each other late into the night.  Gracie Walsh Munschauer, Ed’s daughter, was kind to send me these recollections from their family.

Sheila was "the franchise" of our family. She was loved by all of us and had a way to make us all feel extra special. She had no ego and was always wanting to let the spot light fall on others. I have loved her since the day she was born and will miss her. She was special.      - Ed Walsh

We were at Sea island on spring break with the kids, Holly and Ed and Sheila. I was sitting by the pool working on how to buy SEH I was a little discouraged. We chatted.  At the end, she looked at me knowingly and told me there is always a way to make dreams come true.   - David Munschauer

Aunt Sheila was always one of my favorite people. When ever I got to see her she always seemed to light up the room and when we talked she made me feel super important and always seemed to care what I was doing no matter how boring it was.  - Lyman Munschauer

Sheila was always so consistent. A big smile on her face, positive can-do  spirit, a sense of adventure and always cheering for others. She was fun and always led by example.
