Sheila Parizeau

A beloved outlaw

A beloved outlaw

Sheila loved her children's spouses like her own children.  Her relationships with all five of them were very special.  Michael is Sue's husband.

I was one of the lucky outlaws....Sheila's son-in-law.

I had the great fortune for Sheila to join us every year for the past 25 years on our family spring vacations to Hilton head and later to Fripp Island. Sheila was so active all day every day on those vacations. She would play all kinds of games with our kids, she would ride the bikes all around the island,  she would walk for miles up and down the beach and she was still up for playing tennis each day....she was a dynamo!

I also loved to cook meals for her because she was so incredibly appreciative of every concoction I whipped up. And in the evenings, before dinner we would have cocktail hour. I enjoyed her constant refrain when I would ask her if she would like a cocktail,

"You know, I never have a cocktail unless Michael makes it for me,  I just love Michael's cocktails!"

She was a pure delight to have with us on our vacation each Spring. You can be sure I will be regularly tipping my glass in honor of Sheila's  for the days to come!

I love you and miss you Sheila.
